Munich, Germany – June 23–25, 2026 — BENY, a global provider of photovoltaic protection and safety solutions, successfully participated in Intersolar Europe 2026 at Messe München, Germany. At Hall B3, Booth B3.570, BENY showcased its latest rapid shutdown solutions, combiner boxes, and DC protection products, attracting visitors from across the solar and energy storage industries.
Europe’s Leading Solar Industry Exhibition
As the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry, Intersolar Europe brings together manufacturers, installers, project developers, and energy professionals to explore the latest advancements in photovoltaics, energy storage, and renewable energy technologies. The event serves as an important platform for industry collaboration and technological innovation.
As Europe continues to accelerate solar deployment while strengthening safety requirements, system protection and fire prevention are becoming increasingly important. At Intersolar Europe 2026, BENY demonstrated a comprehensive portfolio designed to enhance PV safety, operational reliability, and long-term system performance.
Rapid Shutdown Solutions for Enhanced PV Safety
One of the highlights at the BENY booth was its rapid shutdown portfolio, including the BFS-A1 and BFS-A2 module-level rapid shutdown devices together with the BFS-S firefighter safety switch. Designed for photovoltaic systems up to 1500V DC, these solutions rapidly reduce hazardous DC voltage at the module or string level, helping protect installers, maintenance personnel, and emergency responders during shutdown or emergency situations.
The BFS series supports reliable communication and fast shutdown performance while helping PV systems comply with evolving safety requirements. By minimizing arc fault risks and dangerous voltage exposure, the solutions contribute to safer rooftop solar installations and improved fire protection throughout the system lifecycle.
Integrated Protection Solutions for Modern PV Systems
BENY also showcased its BHS-2/2 DC600V+AC(single phase 7kw) Optical-Storage Integrated Box, designed to integrate photovoltaic generation, energy storage, and AC distribution within a single enclosure. The solution simplifies system architecture, reduces installation complexity, and provides a more efficient approach to managing residential and light commercial solar-plus-storage applications.
Complementing the combiner box solution, BENY showcased its BB1-125 DC Miniature Circuit Breaker and BH-400/2P/DC1500V DC Isolator Switch. The BB1-125 supports up to 125A and 1000V DC, providing reliable overload and short-circuit protection for DC circuits. The BH-400/2P photovoltaic DC isolator switch is rated up to 1500V DC and 400A, featuring patented arc-extinguishing technology and a 10kA short-circuit withstand capability (Icw). It enables safe isolation of the DC side of inverters, combiner boxes, and large-scale PV systems, making maintenance and servicing safer and more efficient.
Strengthening Partnerships Across Europe
Throughout the three-day exhibition, BENY engaged with distributors, EPC contractors, installers, and project developers from across Europe. Discussions focused on photovoltaic safety trends, regulatory developments, and the growing demand for reliable protection solutions in residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects.
The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships and establish new collaborations, further expanding BENY’s presence in the European renewable energy market.
Looking Ahead
As photovoltaic systems continue to grow in scale and complexity, safety and protection technologies will remain essential to ensuring reliable operation and long-term performance. BENY remains committed to developing innovative solutions that help customers build safer and more efficient solar energy systems.
Through continuous innovation and close cooperation with global partners, BENY will continue supporting the advancement of sustainable energy infrastructure and the worldwide transition toward clean energy.
