As demand for grid stability continued to grow in Kaunas, Lithuania, the local power plant required a reliable energy storage infrastructure to support utility-scale operation. Frequent load fluctuations during peak electricity demand also created higher requirements for stable and safe power distribution.
BENY provided electrical protection and power distribution support for a 1.2MWh liquid-cooled ESS project consisting of 5 units of BYHV-241SLC systems. Featuring IP55 protection and C3 anti-corrosion protection, the solution supports stable operation from -30°C to +50°C while enabling fast installation and low-noise performance.
The completed project helped improve overall grid regulation capability and operational stability for the power plant. It also demonstrated BENY’s ability to support large-capacity ESS applications with reliable and efficient power management solutions.
