Central Europe’s Key Renewable Energy Platform

ENEX is one of Poland’s leading energy exhibitions and among the most important energy trade fairs in Central Europe. The event gathers manufacturers, installers, and energy professionals to explore developments in photovoltaics, energy storage, electromobility, and smart energy technologies, providing a platform for technical exchange and cooperation that supports the region’s accelerating energy transition.

As photovoltaic installations continue to expand across Europe, safety requirements for PV systems are becoming increasingly stringent. Against this backdrop, reliable protection technologies play a critical role in ensuring long-term system performance and operational safety.

Module-Level Rapid Shutdown with Intelligent Monitoring

Responding to these evolving safety needs, BENY showcased its BFS-A1 and BFS-A2 module-level rapid shutdown solutions, integrated with dedicated monitoring devices for real-time supervision of PV system operation. Supporting systems up to 1500V DC, the solution monitors voltage, current, temperature, and device status through POWERBUS communication, enabling early fault detection and simplified maintenance. The monitoring unit also integrates an emergency stop function and automatically shuts down modules during power loss or when temperatures exceed 100°C, enhancing rooftop fire safety and protecting installers and emergency responders.

Firefighter Safety Switches

BENY also presented its BFS-S2 and BFS-S4 firefighter safety switches, designed to enable rapid isolation of PV strings during emergency situations. Installed between PV arrays and inverters, the devices provide reliable DC disconnection, reducing arc fault risks and dangerous voltage exposure. The solutions support safer firefighting and maintenance operations while meeting evolving European safety expectations for commercial and rooftop photovoltaic systems.

Integrated Combiner Boxes and Protection Components

In addition, BENY introduced its BHS-2-2AC single-phase 7kW optical-storage integrated combiner box, designed to coordinate PV generation, energy storage, and AC power distribution within one system. Together with BENY’s DC circuit breakers, isolator switches, and surge protective devices, the solution delivers comprehensive protection against overloads, short circuits, and voltage surges, improving overall system stability and electrical safety.
