Beny Presents Advanced Energy Solutions at Intersolar South America 2025

São Paulo, Brazil – August 26, 2025 – The highly anticipated Intersolar South America 2025 kicked off at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, Brazil. As one of Latin America’s most influential solar energy exhibitions, this year’s event gathered global industry leaders to showcase cutting-edge technologies in renewable energy. Beny, a key player in the global energy solution sector, made a prominent appearance at Booth G3.90 in the Green Pavilion, presented its integrated “PV + Energy Storage + EV Charging” solutions and drew significant attention from attendees.

A Booming Market: Brazil’s Solar Energy Surge

As Latin America’s largest solar market, Brazil continued its robust expansion, with cumulative PV capacity surpassing 55GW by the end of 2024 (ABSOLAR). Distributed generation (DG) dominated 2025’s growth trajectory, projected to contribute 14.4GW of new installations. Beny’s solutions aligned with this trend, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and grid resilience.

Beny’s Showcase: Innovation Across Product Lines

Beny’s presence at Intersolar South America 2025 highlighted its full spectrum of energy solutions, covering six key product categories: EV chargers, energy storage systems, combiner boxes, rapid shutdown devices, DC switches, and AC components. The exhibition focused on three core pillars: rapid shutdown technology, EV chargers, and energy storage systems – with a special emphasis on commercial energy storage and charging solutions, complemented by real-world installation case studies.

Solution I: Commercial Energy Storage and EV Charging

Beny’s commercial energy storage and EV charging solution stood as a cornerstone of its exhibition highlights, tailored to meet the booming demand for large-scale renewable energy integration in Brazil. The commercial energy storage system, featuring a 100KW/230kWh configuration with an “All-in-One” design, integrated batteries, BMS, and PCS into a prefabricated cabin, enabling flexible deployment for scenarios like peak shaving, grid balancing, and emergency backup. With a lifespan exceeding 8,000 charge-discharge cycles, it ensured long-term reliability for commercial facilities. Complementing this, the EV charging portfolio included high-performance DC chargers such as the 120kW BLDC120-D (with CCS2 dual guns, 21-inch screen, and LED lighting) and 90kW BGDC90-D, alongside AC options like the 2X22KW dual-gun vertical charger CPCV-CT2N. All chargers were pre-equipped with Brazilian plugs for direct use, supported OCPP protocols, and boasted robust designs (700×520×1800mm for DC models) to enhance charging efficiency in malls, industrial parks, and public spaces.

Solution II: Residential Energy Storage and Home Charging

Targeting Brazil’s fast-growing distributed solar market, Beny’s residential solution combined user-friendly energy storage and home charging to empower households with clean energy autonomy. The residential energy storage system (model BYAIO-1PH12-40) featured an “All-in-One” enclosure (1450×1570×2250mm), designed for easy installation and seamless integration with rooftop solar setups, storing excess daytime energy for nighttime use and reducing reliance on the grid. For home charging, Beny offered compact yet efficient options like the 7KW single-phase portable charger BCPP-A2N (200×90×55.5mm) and the BCP-A2N-P series (5-meter cable, APP-controlled, available in orange and red). These chargers came with Brazilian plugs and charging gun hooks, supporting OCPP standards to ensure safe, smart charging for household EVs. Together, they formed a cost-effective, eco-friendly package that aligned with Brazil’s rising adoption of residential solar.

Solution III: Power Distribution Protection

Beny’s power distribution protection solution, with a focus on rapid shutdown technology, ensured safe and efficient operation of solar systems—from small-scale rooftops to large plants. At its core were the high-temperature resistant rapid shutdown devices (models BFS-A1 and BFS-A2), featuring aluminum enclosures, short cables, and AFCI (Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter) functionality, designed to quickly cut off DC power in emergencies, mitigating fire risks. The solution also included reliable components like DC isolators (BYSS.2-50 series), combiner boxes (BDM-250, 2P 500V 250A), and circuit breakers (BB1-63, BB2-40), all pre-mounted on rails for easy installation. Together, they formed a comprehensive safety net for solar power distribution, underscoring Beny’s commitment to secure renewable energy deployment.

Tailored Design: Brand Meets Local Identity

Beny’s booth design embodied a blend of simplicity and functionality, with special nods to both the Beny logo and Brazilian national flag elements – a deliberate choice to resonate with local audiences, especially given two of its showcased chargers featured Brazilian flag motifs. This design approach underscored Beny’s commitment to understanding and integrating with the local market.
