Beny Announced Integrated EV Charging Solutions at the Nordic EV Summit

On April 05, 2024 – Oslo, Norway – Beny, a global leader in EV charging solutions, made its appearance at the Nordic EV Summit, which is a significant conference in Europe focusing on electric vehicles that gathers key players from the EV industry worldwide. It showcased the latest EV charging products and technologies, including residential and commercial AC and DC charging stations. Among them, the spotlight was on the integrated solution of PV, energy storage, and EV charging, offering a cleaner and more economical solution for the development of EVs in the Nordic region.

The Nordic Region boasts abundant solar energy resources. For instance, Norway’s photovoltaic power generation reaches 1044.9 kilowatt-hours per square meter annually under normal direct sunlight conditions. In recent years, the photovoltaic market in Norway has been rapidly developing, with approximately 300 megawatts of new photovoltaic installed capacity in 2023.

Against this backdrop, the launch of Beny’s integrated solution of PV, energy storage, and EV charging will further help the Nordic Region increase the proportion of renewable energy use. For example, in the industrial and commercial sectors, Beny’s 2000 to 2800 microinverters can efficiently convert energy for self-consumption, reducing electricity expenses. Liquid-cooled and air-cooled industrial and commercial energy storage systems can store energy during off-peak hours (when electricity prices are lower) or additional energy from photovoltaic systems. This not only reduces energy expenditure but also serves as a backup power source to ensure uninterrupted business operations and grid stability. During working hours, employees can also replenish power using Beny’s charging stations, which can source power from the grid or the energy storage system. This integrated solution improves energy utilization efficiency and reduces reliance on traditional energy sources, promoting the development of sustainable energy.

Beny’s General Manager, Jundan Wang, stated, “We are delighted to participate in the Nordic EV Summit and showcase our customer-centric solutions. We believe that this integrated solution will provide strong support for the development of solar and electric vehicles locally, helping to achieve carbon neutrality goals.” Beny looks forward to cooperating with Nordic partners to provide more convenient and efficient energy solutions, fully utilizing solar energy resources and contributing to the development of the electric transportation industry.
