Uzbekistan’s automotive and clean energy industries are experiencing rapid growth, with the government actively promoting sustainable transportation and renewable energy integration. As electric vehicles (EVs) gain traction and solar power becomes a key energy source for charging infrastructure and manufacturing facilities, the demand for reliable DC power distribution and protection solutions has surged. Beny’s technologies, designed to enhance safety and efficiency in high-voltage systems, align perfectly with the country’s goals of expanding clean energy adoption and modernizing its automotive sector.

At the exhibition, Beny’s BHS-6/6 DC combiner box emerged as a standout product. Engineered for 1500V DC systems, it supports customized configurations (up to 20 input circuits) to adapt to diverse project needs. Certified by UL98B, IEC, TÜVRheinland, and RoHS, the BHS-6/6 integrates a 250A DC isolator switch, Type 2 DC SPD (with Type 1+2 as an option), and finger-safe fuse holders, ensuring comprehensive protection against electrical faults. Its NEMA4X and IP65-rated polycarbonate enclosure guarantees durability in harsh environments, making it ideal for solar-powered automotive facilities and EV charging stations.

Complementing the combiner box, Beny showcased two innovative DC circuit breakers: the BB1LE-63 and BDM-630/2P/630A. The BB1LE-63, a Type B residual current circuit breaker, offers multi-layer protection against AC leakage, pulsating DC leakage, smooth DC leakage, and high-frequency leakage (up to 1kHz). With a rated current of 63A and voltage of 400/415V, it features a frame-type wiring structure for safe installation on standard 35mm rails, operating reliably in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C—critical for Uzbekistan’s varying climatic conditions.

The BDM-630/2P/630A, a high-performance DC molded case circuit breaker, is designed for 1500V DC systems with a rated current of up to 630A. Compliant with IEC 60947-2 and GB/T 14048.2 standards, it delivers exceptional breaking capacity (20kA) and ultra-short arcing distance (<30mm), ensuring rapid fault isolation. Its wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +80°C) and robust mechanical (8,500 cycles) and electrical (1,500 cycles) lifespan make it a reliable choice for large-scale PV installations and high-power EV charging networks.
