BENY has successfully deployed its BFS-S4 Solar Building Fire Fighter Safety Switch in Denmark to enhance the safety of rooftop PV systems. The BFS-S4 supports up to 4 PV strings and handles 1500V DC/50A, offering a reliable emergency shutdown to protect against electrical fires and enable safe intervention during emergencies.
Designed for harsh outdoor conditions, it features IP66 protection, Class II insulation, and an automatic switch-off function at 85°C. The switch operates across a wide temperature range (-40°C to +85°C) and complies with IEC/EN 60947-1 & 3 standards.
